It is important to look for breeders that are dedicated to sound ethical breeding practices. Pet stores order and ship dogs without knowing the conditions in which the dogs were bred, born, and raised.  All puppies shown in the Photo Gallery were born in my home and are allowed to play with other Yorkies. Since they are handled every day, they grow up with a great foundation to develop socialization skills.

  After many years of working with dogs of various breeds, my heart was captured by the Yorkshire Terrier. They are small, spunky, lovable, and loyal dogs that love to play and cuddle. They can also make great watch dogs!
    Because they are compact, they do not require as much exercise as a larger dog, but from my experience the best part of the day is watching them frolic and play with a favorite toy or out in the yard. Some Yorkies are good hunters as well. In fact, the Yorkshire Terrier was originally bred to hunt small rodents, so they are truly working dogs with a playful side.  
    A Yorkie in the house is a bundle of joy, eager to greet you, play for a bit then curl up on the couch as you settle in for the night. As you can tell, Yorkies are my passion and I take great pride in breeding quality dogs that are true to the Yorkshire Terrier standard.
    As a member of the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America, I have vowed to make every effort to breed only healthy Yorkies with good temperment and the finest physical characteristics of the breed.
